Bright fruity flavors mixed with sugar to recreate those powdered candy sticks that we all grew up eating. While there is no addition of citric acid, these are still tart enough to pack a punch and make you pucker. These are also a great way to bring up glucose levels quickly as 1 stick contains 13 grams of sugar.
(We originally decided to make these as a low-glucose corrector, or "quick sugar", for our daughter who is a type 1 diabetic.)
